Pit & Peak

Happy Friday to you!

I hope this day finds you well and excited for the weekend! I know I am! Our church is hosting Mark Driscoll's Real Marriage Tour this weekend, and I am so looking forward to learning how to become a better wife (because the good Lord knows I need some work!) AND to spend the whole weekend with my hubby and friends!

Aaaaaaaanyway... (My Wife and Kids, anyone??)
I'm linking up with Allie over at Tales of a Twenty Something for Pit & Peak!
So here I go...

Pit:
I got really sick this week. Reeeeeeeally sick. Either food poisoning or the nasty stomach bug that's been jumping around the Ozarks lately. I was quite miserable. But now I'm better! (Oops. That's a peak.)

Peak:
I got a snow ice day! TWICE! Yesterday my university was closed, and today the elementary school where I do my practicum is closed! ((there has been lots of screamin' and shoutin' for joy around here.)) So between my sick day and two ice days, I've literally sat at home for three days straight and done nothing. And it has been glorious. However, I will say that I'm definitely ready to get dressed up and go somewhere tonight. One can only last in her pjs and slippers for so long.

Everyone has pits and peaks in their week, right?!
What are YOURS this week?

  2. I've never heard of the real marriage tour but it sounds awesome! I'm definitely feeling the need for a bit of a marriage retreat -not because anything is wrong but because it would be amazing to get away with my sweet man and be able to focus on our marriage for once. I hope your weekend is wonderful!
